Globally Onward Founder, Iulia Arhire, explains our employment support services to professionally qualified refugees and migrants, and how we can help local employers to fill the skills gap in Norfolk.
I know how it feels to be in ‘survival’ jobs that do not define who you are. I know how it feels having to keep your spirits up and to hope that one day someone will recognise your talent and you can finally add your value to society.
After 10 years as an immigrant in the UK, I believe that change is needed to expose employers to the rich pool of professional talent contained within the immigrant and refugee population in the UK. Globally Onward is that change. An organisation that can bring employers and professional immigrants and refugees together to meet each other’s needs.

Globally Onward is on a mission to:
We are bringing together organisations, skilled immigrants and refugees, individuals, businesses, philanthropists and local government to meet each other’s needs, to collaborate and share ideas to develop ourselves and others.
We value all contributions and believe that only through diverse voices, thinking and collaboration can we make better decisions.
We use our passion for social justice to drive the daily commitments to our mission, to be bold and courageous in all actions.
Our commitment is not only towards why we do what we do, but also on how we collaborate with others. Showing respect and developing trust goes a long way towards building a lasting relationship with our partners and our Globally Onwards family.
Gives strength and builds resilience in order that things will change for the better. We are here to empower you to change your world.
We hold the conviction that ‘survival’ jobs do not define our people, and we are here to discover your true talent.
